Yuta Tamura

Yuta ‘Seed’ Tamura specializes in Breaking and House dancing. Constantly striving for growth, Yuta enjoys travelling to further expand his knowledge and experience of dance. His philosophy of bboying and dance is principally influenced by energy, artistry, evolution, and freedom. These influences include philosophies of the abstract “Evolve” movement, of local bboys, as well as Japanese dance styles. He believes strongly in the power of creativity, emphasizing dance as a canvas on which to paint one’s story. Throughout his dance career Yuta has been recognized by Vitamin Water and more recently he has won battles at Floor Science and the Winter Get Down. He has also been a featured dancer at the NBA Denver Nugget’s halftime show with performer Lisa Lisa. He is currently a sophomore at the University of Colorado studying Engineering.
