Steven Silva began dancing 10 years ago for a middle school talent show, but only became serious about bboying in 2008. He is mostly self taught, learning and being inspired from veterans in the Colorado community. Steve believes that dance, from the observers prospective, is simply a visual representation of music. Where music is for the ears, dance is for the eyes, both are for the heart. From the Bboys perspective, its about overcoming all obstacles or being transcendent of your lower self. It's about rising to the occasion and pushing yourself to a level that inspires others and discourages your opponent. He has performance experience with Dance2Live and battle experience around the USA for the past 4 years including Freestyle Session, Evolution, Vegas Shakedown, and Show Me Styles jams. Steve has a General Business degree from the University of Denver.
